Lackawanna College
Lackawanna College is a private two-year college established in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1894 with a mission of providing opportunity for everyone. The main campus complex is located in downtown Scranton with satellite centers throughout Northeast Pennsylvania in Honesdale, Hazleton, New Milford and Towanda. Utilizing a combination of quality academic courses, small classes and state-of-the-art technology, Lackawanna grants associate degrees in 28 major areas, as well as offering certificate programs, continuing education classes and job skills training. The college remains accessible to all through reasonable tuition costs and an open admissions policy. Lackawanna also operates a Police Academy and a Paramedic Training Institute.

Number of Transferring: Over 50 percent of Lackawanna College's graduates transfer to a four-year college or university each year directly upon graduation. Many others transfer after working for a period of time for financial purposes.
Transfer Agreements: Lackawanna College graduates transfer as juniors to Pennsylvnia System of Higher Education univeresities as part of the Academic Passport Program. The college also maintains numerous atriculation agreement with four-year institutions of higher education.
