Butler County Community (BC3), chartered in 1965, was the first community college in Western Pennsylvania. More than 3,700 students are enrolled in credit programs. Another 25,000 people take part annually in the many other educational opportunities available on the BC3 campus. The College also offers classes at various off-campus sites throughout western Pennsylvania. BC3 provides associate degrees, transfer programs, certifcate and diploma programs.
