Accepts Transfers:
Mansfield University accepts students in transfer for Fall and Spring semesters, and for summer sessions. Please review our transfer admissions policies at our undergraduate catalogue online.

Transfer Scholarships and Financial Aid
In addition to specific transfer scholarships, transfer students are eligible for all Mansfield University scholarships, provided appropriate criteria are met.
Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
Minimum 2.0 cumulative quality point average (QPA) at an accredited post-secondary institution. Exceptions are as follows: Social Work, 2.5 QPA; Nutrition & Dietetics, 2.5 QPA; Nursing, 2.7 GPA; Education, 3.0 GPA.
Official Transcripts:
Transfer students are required to submit official transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions previously attended
SAT Scores:
If you earned fewer than 30 credits in college level work you must submit an official high school transcript and official SAT or ACT score report. SAT/ACT not required if the applicant is 21 years or has been out of school for two years.
Letters of Recommendation:
Letters of Recommendation are valuable, but are not required for undergraduate applicants.
Essay:
Essays are valuable, but are not required for undergraduate applicants.
Application Fee:
Transfer Applicants are required to pay a $25 application fee, unless they will have earned an Associate's Degree prior to enrollment at Mansfield. In this case, the application fee is waived.
Interview:
An interview is not typically required, but may be asked of the applicant.
Other Requirements:
Acceptance into music programs require successful music audition. Art education students are required to pass an art portfolio review. Pre-requisites for health sciences: completion of Algebra, Biology, Chemistry with grade of C or better.

Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
Actual grades and the quality point average (QPA) do not transfer from any previous institution; only the credits earned transfer. (If GPA is below 2.0, courses completed with a grade below C- are not accepted in transfer.)
Credits (Min/Max):
There is no minimum number of credits required to transfer to Mansfield University. A maximum of 67 transfer credits from two-year institutions. No maximum for four-year schools.
