Butler County Community College (BC3), chartered in 1965, is the first community college in Western Pennsylvania. It offers 40 associate degree and 20 certificate or workplace certificate programs in business & information technology, education & behavioral sciences, health care, liberal arts and STEM. An estimated 575 students earn college credits in BC3’s high school programming. Approximately 20,000 people participate annually in non-credit business and industry training and in public safety training, lifelong learning opportunities and professional development courses.
